Kobe Bryant: It’s Hero Time

With his teammates struggling in the First Round Playoff against Kevin Durant-lead Oklahoma Thunder, from Kevin Durant’s great Playoff performance, from foul troubles guarding the young guns and an almost defeated situation on Game 6 vs. the Thunder, where an unlikely hero Pau Gasol taking up Kobe Bryant’s mantle, it’s time for Kobe to be Los Angeles Lakers’ hero once again, and he doesn’t disappoint this time.

It was in the fourth quarter of the Lakers vs. Jazz second round opener at Staples Center, where the Lakers' reserves carelessly gave away the lead to the Utah Jazz, that spills another upset as what they did to the Nuggets making the Hollywood crowd grow intense. Then Bryant checked in, for a few minutes, Bryant don his hero identity where he scored 11 of his 31 points in the final four minutes that rallied the Lakers past Utah Jazz 104-99, Sunday Night. Bryant scored 31 points, had 3 rebounds and 4 assists, and made 7 of 7 free throws. He scored seven consecutive points that erased Utah’s 4-point lead. Together with his teammates help hold the Jazz to just one field goal in the final 4 minutes of the game. Last year's reigning Finals MVP was again at his best.

They will host Game 2 of the Second Round Playoff against Utah Jazz, Tuesday Night at Staples Center. Who knows, Game 2 will again be Kobe Bryant’s Hero Time.
