May 7, 2010, Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, it’s the official weigh-in for UFC 113: Machida vs. Rua 2, the place was jam-packed with fans, mostly Canadians cheering for their fellow Canadian fighters – Sam Stout, Patrick Cote, Jason MacDonald and T.J. Grant. Joe Rogan is the emcee of the event, assisting of course is the UFC President Dana White.
The event was scorching from the fighter’s intense eye to eye stare down, especially from Kimbo Slice and Matt Mitrione. Adding the heat were Octagon Round Girls, both hot and sizzling Arianny Celeste and Chandella Powell. And there was the Tom Lawlor filthy show that came out and impersonated his idol – UFC legend Dan Severn and done Severn’s trademark poses. The event would not be completed if the two men involved in the main fight not being mentioned here. First it was Mauricio Shogun Rua who tips on the scale and weighs 205 lbs, and followed by the champion Lyoto The Dragon Machida who weights 204 lbs. Both fighter looks pretty good and cut shapely. The stare-down between two fighters were respectful but got serious look in their eyes. They are ready to rumble inside the octagon.
