April 30, 2010, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada, an estimated six thousand boxing fans crowded its environs where the doors are being shut-down to prevent fans from coming in, from the shining stars, to famous athletes, to big names of boxing, to boxing coaches, to boxing’s top writers and media members and everyone else that’s been there rooting for their man for this Super Fight – Mayweather vs. Mosley, no doubt, that from this time they have pick their own fighter.
Michael Buffer emceed the weigh-in with the assistance of comedian George Wallace that entertains the big crowd from the stage before the weigh-in. The under card event fighters was first to be weigh then finally, the main event fighters – Floyd Mayweather, Jr and Sugar Shane Mosley. Both fighters received earsplitting ovations from the crowd as they walked-up the stage, though it was Pretty Boy who got most of the cheers of jeers.
Sugar Shane Mosley was the first fighter to step on the scale showing his excellent shape and tribal tattoos as he took off his white Adidas sweatshirt and pants. His official weight was 147 lbs. Then come Mayweather turn’s in the scale, in black hooded sweatshirt with a cap underneath that conceals his face and white pants. He looked bigger and muscular than Mosley, his official weight was 146 lbs.
Then, the most awaited-part in a weigh-in is the Stare Down of the fighters who for the most part are calm. A looked on the enemy’s eyes, eye to eye, no blink just pure display of man’s pride.
